DETAILS
The World XCM On-line Tournament is open to any XCMer or manipulator wanting to compete. There are no age or other requirements. All you need is a video camera/webcam of some sort, and be able to upload your video. Many competitors use the free - www.youtube.com video hosting site that is easy to use.

WHEN DOES IT START?
The World XCM On-line tournament will start on 15 May. The tournament requires that you make a video approximately once every 2-3 weeks only. You have that time to make your routine and upload.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
The World XCM Tournament uses a double elimination battle system. In other words, people are paired up by random drawing and they battle to decide on the winner. Each competitor submits there video and our pannel of expert judges grades them all individually by a point system, and declares the winner. The winner advances in the winner's bracket and the looser drops down to a loser's bracket. You have to lose 2 battles/rounds to be out of the tournament completely.
ROUND FOUR - CHOREOGRAPHED MUSICAL PERFORMANCE

Create a XCM routine to music. In short, create a XCM music video - This is how professionals mostly present their XCM performances with a few exceptions. Last year we ran this challenge and it was disheartening to see that only 1 or 2 really understood it such as Digital ARtist. So this year, we will do it again, hoping that more people will start to understand and work on their own routines. XCM pros perform complete musical XCM acts, now show us what you got!

REQUIREMENTS

VIDEO LENGHT
2 minutes max including intro. You can have an edited intro - taunting or something cool of your choice, but the actual video must be uncut. You can edit the color of the video, but nothing else. No speeding up, and no cutting the footage. With intro your video can't exceed 2 minutes total. No one will cry about a few seconds here or there, but try to adhere to the time limit.

OBJECT TO SHOW
You must show or hold up a ring of your choice before you start so we know that the video was made specifically for this tournament.
You MUST show your face somewhere in the video.

DECK REQUIREMENTS
Use any deck or multiple decks

OTHER ITEMS/THINGS TO KNOW
You can use the cardbox/cardclips
You can use props that fit your performance
You can use a table
You can shorten or modify the music to meet the timeframe. Please do the music first and then perform. Do NOT cut up music afterwards to match your performance.

DUE DATE
Videos are due on on the 5th. of october 2008 GERMANY time up until midnight (Germany time!!!)

UPLOADING YOUR VIDEO
Please don't upload your videos early! If you do, be sure to set it to private so no one can see them prior to the deadline. Or better yet, wait until the day before deadline...

TIPS
What we are looking for is a complete performance video! We are looking for you to dress the part, and perform TO THE MUSIC! Use the music as accents to your XCM, match it up. You dress, attitude and XCM should blend with the music to make 1 entertaining routine. Some people will try to reverse engineer the music to match the video you take and that is NOT what we are looking for. If it looks like you cut the music to match your performance, then you'll be docked points. Pick a song, and work your routine to it. Use body movements and clothing/props to enhance the overall performance. Performing real XCM for real people takes a complete show, and this is what Handlordz has always tried to push to our members. This is just one more way we are helping you to prepare for the real world.
